HistWar: Napoleon Installation

You have received an email with a link to download HistWar. 

It's time to install the game:

HistWar: Napoleon: HistWar-N-install.exe
HistWar: Les Grognards: HistWar-L-install.exe

The program optionally offers to uninstall the current version (recommended).
This helps prevent mixing a previous version with this new version.
However, your personal Map and OoB files will be preserved.

Validate the different phases.

At the end of the process: enter the Serial Number

Important : This window may be hidden by another window.

In the email containing the Serial Number:

1. Select the key
2. Simultaneously press 'CTRL' and c
3. Place the cursor over the Install SN window
4. Simultaneously press 'CTRL' and v
5. Click on Validation
6. The key text turns green
7. Exit the program
8. If the text turns red, the key is probably entered incorrectly

Installation is complete

Launch the game (HistWar2.exe).

A list of items is offered:

• HistWar: Napoleon: the simulator of Napoleon's battles
• Battle Order Editor (more than 1500 regiments, 700 uniforms, 3000 commanders (from Marshal to Colonel)
• Map Editor
• Doctrine Editor
• Configuration
• Credits
• Quit

The two flags allow you to choose the language for HistWar.

The game comes with a 17-chapter tutorial.
It is important to go through the first 12 before starting to play.
These chapters briefly describe the interface and, above all, survey HistWar's philosophy.

Note: When you launch the game, error #10 appears: Don't worry. For some reason, the serial number is missing or invalid. Just reset the key. 
To do this, run the installHW.exe program and enter the key!!!
